Home Union is seeking a part time shopkeeper/salesperson in a busy upbeat environment.

Who should apply:
You love interiors and design, are approachable, friendly, kind, warm, and comfortable striking up conversation. You are a self-starter. You are punctual and reliable. You have an amazing memory, and can multi-task. You take direction well, and are comfortable working alone or with others. You should be energetic and able to lift 50 pounds. You must have attention to detail and you must be well organized. You have a working iPhone and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty.
Home Union is owned and operated by a small team, who are passionate about vintage and design. The ideal candidate will mesh well with our team and share common interests. We operate mainly as a retail store, but to our customers we are so much more than that. Some liken our store to a museum, and we think that’s awesome. We want it to be as beautiful as a museum, but without the stuffy environment and with fun music and kind, helpful staff.
-Shopkeep and key holder
-Daily cleaning and organization
-Logging and measuring new inventory
-Cleaning new (vintage) inventory
-Taking photographs on phone
-Daily communication with owners
-Running square POS
-Self-governing when you are alone
-Packing and shipping online orders
-Preparing in-store pickup orders
-Answering phone calls
-Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
-You must be comfortable standing on your feet for long periods of time.
-You must have previous retail/sales experience.
-You must be helpful and respectful to all.
-You must be comfortable sharing your social media presence with us.
-Sharing your favorite designer will get you +2 style points.
